Jonathan Mullaly (born September 1, 1985 in London, United Kingdom), better known as Jon Avila, is a half-Filipino and half-Irish model, TV host, actor, performer and former housemate of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 2. Avila grew up in London where he finished Business Studies in Chelmsford College. He is currently one of the hosts of the TV show ASAP Mania where he also performs in a hunky all-male group named Coverboys.
Before he became a household name, Avila was already known in ramp and print ad modelling. He started making waves when he won the Century Tuna Superbod in 2006. The jumpstart of his career was when he joined in the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 2, where he was dubbed as "The English Outcast". He earned the nickname given that he was used to be ostracized by his schoolmates in London for being the only Asian. After the show ended, ABS-CBN launched Avila as one of members of the Star Magic Batch 15 which led to more shows and exposures.
